Hey, I'm Mariam :) 

I'M A MULTI-FACETED DESIGNER + ARTIST BASED IN MIAMI. MY WORK MOSTLY FOCUSES ON THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN EXPERIMENTATION AND ORDER: THE BEAUTY OF EVERYDAY LIFE

The inspiration behind my work comes from my surroundings; my life here in Miami, the internet, and the themes of nostalgia. These environments fuel my desire to experiment in what I do visually, pushing me to challenge boundaries and explore new forms of my art and design. 

In my projects, I like to incorporate a wide range of digital and physical mediums in order to convey the themes I want. By mixing real life objects with digital tools, I allow myself to stay in the modern range whilst still having that “homey” feeling. I choose to work with materials that are not only visually striking but also evoke a sense of connection and sentimentality. In my art, I try to capture fleeting moments from our normal, everyday life and transform them into narratives that invite viewers to pause and reflect. The textures, colors, and forms I use are also deliberate choices aimed at creating a sensory, and unique experience. My goal is to make people feel like they are so connected to the piece that they are inside of my work; they can see, touch, smell, and hear everything going on.
